Food issue!
Why, when entrepreneurs barely have time for lunch? Here’s why: This wouldn’t be an issue full of heroic photos of tacos. It would be an issue about entrepreneurs thriving in a brutal business—where competition is merciless, hours are brutal, product spoils fast, and customers think they know everything. It would, in effect, be an issue about pressure. And no matter what business we’re in, we can all learn from people under pressure. Pressure forces entrepreneurs to refine, hone, and troubleshoot the smallest of problems, because otherwise every misstep will multiply. Pressure demands perfection, or at least the pursuit of it. Pressure is motivation that never lets up. Other food magazines may make you hungry, but I hope the entrepreneurs in our special issue inspire you. And in the meantime, seriously, take a little break for lunch.
